History/Background

We are located just off Farndale Avenue, Romanby, North Yorkshire DL7 8SN. We have over 300 members in total from all ages – of these 90 play cricket for the club.

We have four Junior teams and two Senior teams. The Junior teams play in the Hambleton Junior Cricket League, while the Senior teams are in the North Yorkshire & South Durham Premier Cricket leagues and cups.

Training for the Juniors is normally on Friday evenings between May and September. Seniors practice on Tuesday and Friday evenings during the cricket season. More information on indoor nets for the 2017 season will be posted when confirmed.

The present cricket club was established in 1946 and we have a long and proud history. Each member of the club received a annual members handbook which contains full details of the yearly schedule, and full information about the club, fixtures, results and subscriptions.

The clubhouse has a fully licensed function room and bar – which is available for hire by members – for occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, wedding receptions or meetings. Applications forms for this are available from the club.
